1. Crafting your custom aligners:Once you approve the design, your series of medical-grade clear aligners are custom-fabricated. Each set is engineered to gently and sequentially move your teeth into position.

1. Living with Invisalign:You’ll wear each aligner for 20 to 22 hours a day, switching to the next set at home every 1-2 weeks. We’ll see you for brief progress checks every 6-8 weeks.

Reveal and retain:Once your final aligner sequence is complete, your straight smile is revealed! We provide custom retainers to wear at night to keep your new smile perfectly in place.

How long does Invisalign treatment take?

On average, treatment takes between 6 to 18 months, depending on the complexity of your tooth movements. Simple cosmetic alignment can sometimes take as little as 6 months. You will get an exact timeline during your consultation.

Is the treatment painful?

Invisalign is generally much more comfortable than metal braces. When you switch to a brand-new set of aligners, you might feel a sensation of pressure or minor tenderness for a day or two: this is simply a sign that the aligners are successfully doing their job to move your teeth.

How often do I need to wear the aligners?

For the treatment to work effectively and stay on schedule, you should wear your clear aligners for 20 to 22 hours per day. You should only remove them to eat, drink anything other than water, and brush your teeth.

Am I too old for Invisalign?
